Chapter 162 — Offenses Against the State and Public Justice
ORS 162.335 Compounding
(1)
A person commits the crime of compounding if the person accepts or agrees to accept any pecuniary benefit as consideration for refraining from reporting to law enforcement authorities the commission or suspected commission of any felony or information relating to a felony.
(2)
Compounding is a Class A misdemeanor.
