Chapter 240 — State Personnel Relations

ORS 240.217 Certain reclassifications prohibited

Whenever class specifications for a class of positions in the classified service are changed to reflect revised or added responsibilities that require either the same level or a higher level of competence, such change will not result in a downward reclassification of the class.

Note: 240.217 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 240 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
