Chapter 242 — Civil Service for City or School District Employees and Firefighters

ORS 242.712 Chairperson of commission; meetings; quorum

(1)

Immediately after the appointment of all of its members the commission shall elect a chairperson. The commission shall hold such meetings as may be required for the proper discharge of its duties with a meeting at least once every 90 days and such additional meetings as are requested by any commission member. Any person subject to civil service may request a special meeting of the commission, which request shall be granted when good cause is shown therefor.

(2)

Two members of the commission shall constitute a quorum, and the votes of any two commissioners concurring shall be sufficient for decision in all matters and transactions under ORS 242.702 to 242.824.
