ORS 348.511 Office of Student Access and Completion; director

The Office of Student Access and Completion is established and shall operate under the direction and control of the Higher Education Coordinating Commission.

The executive director of the Higher Education Coordinating Commission shall appoint the Director of the Office of Student Access and Completion.

The Director of the Office of Student Access and Completion shall:

Be responsible for the performance of the duties, functions and powers of the Office of Student Access and Completion;

Be paid a salary as provided by law or, if not so provided, as prescribed by the commission; and

Subject to any applicable provisions of ORS chapter 240, appoint all subordinate officers and employees of the office, prescribe their duties and fix their compensation.

Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 348 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
