Chapter 367 — Transportation Financing; Projects
ORS 367.080 Connect Oregon Fund
“Private entity” means any entity that is not a public body, including but not limited to a corporation, partnership, company, nonprofit organization or other legal entity or natural person.
“Public body” has the meaning given that term in ORS 174.109.
“Transportation project” means a project or undertaking for rail, marine or aviation capital infrastructure, including bridges, or a project that facilitates the transportation of materials, animals or people.
A transportation project does not include costs associated with operating expenses.
The Connect Oregon Fund is established in the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund. Earnings on moneys in the Connect Oregon Fund shall be deposited into the fund. Moneys in the Connect Oregon Fund are continuously appropriated to the Department of Transportation for the purposes described in subsection (3) of this section and in ORS 367.086. The fund consists of the following:
Moneys transferred to the fund under
ORS 320.435.
Moneys appropriated to the fund by the Legislative Assembly.
Earnings on moneys in the fund.
Lottery bond proceeds.
Moneys from any other source.
Aviation;
Marine; and
Rail.
