Chapter 411 — Public Assistance and Medical Assistance
ORS 411.171 Certain job referrals prohibited; eligibility not conditioned on employment at workplace involved in labor dispute
The Department of Human Services may not refer any individual on a job referral that would aid in the filling of a job opening that exists because of a labor dispute.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, neither the department nor any other state agency may require as a condition of eligibility to receive benefits or services provided by the department or agency that an individual apply for or accept employment at any workplace where there is a labor dispute in progress.
As used in this section, “labor dispute” has the meaning given that term in ORS 662.010.
Note: 411.171 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 411 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
