Chapter 430 — Mental and Behavioral Health Treatment; Developmental Disabilities
ORS 430.653 Community mental health program funding study; reports
The Oregon Health Authority, in consultation with counties and community mental health programs, shall conduct a study to determine the funding required for each community mental health program to provide the services and perform the functions required by law related to individuals with behavioral health disorders in the following age groups:
Newborns through youth 17 years of age;
Ages 18 through 25; and
Ages 26 and older.
The study must include, but is not limited to, the costs of providing the services and performing the functions described in:
The authority shall compile reports of the authority’s findings about the costs of providing the services and performing the functions described in subsection (2) of this section every five years and make the reports available on the authority’s website.
Note: The amendments to 430.653 by section 49, chapter 557, Oregon Laws 2025, become operative July 1, 2026, and apply to grants that the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission first advertises or otherwise solicits on or after July 1, 2026. See sections 50 and 51, chapter 557, Oregon Laws 2025. The text that is operative until July 1, 2026, including amendments by section 3, chapter 80, Oregon Laws 2024, is set forth for the user’s convenience.
430.653.
