Chapter 468 — Environmental Quality Generally
ORS 468.010 Environmental Quality Commission; appointment; confirmation; term; compensation and expenses
The term of office of a member shall be four years, but the members of the commission may be removed by the Governor. Before the expiration of the term of a member, the Governor shall appoint a successor to assume the duties of the member on July 1 next following. A member shall be eligible for reappointment, but no member shall serve more than two consecutive terms. In case of a vacancy for any cause, the Governor shall make an appointment to become immediately effective for the unexpired term.
A member of the commission is entitled to compensation and expenses as provided in ORS 292.495.
