Chapter 536 — Water Resources Administration
ORS 536.056 Fees; timing of certain fees; effect of nonpayment
A portion of the applicable examination fee for the application at the time the application is submitted; and
The remaining portion of the applicable examination fee after issuing an initial review of the application.
If the department charges a portion of an applicable examination fee as described in subsection (1)(a) of this section, upon issuing an initial review described in subsection (1)(b) of this section:
The department shall notify the applicant of the remaining portion of the applicable examination fee due; and
If the applicant wishes to continue with the application, the applicant shall pay the remaining portion of the applicable examination fee not more than 90 days after issuance of the initial review.
Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, if the applicant does not pay the remaining portion of the applicable examination fee as described in subsection (2)(b) of this section, the department shall close the file for, and take no further action on, the application.
Note: 536.056 becomes operative April 1, 2026, and applies to applications and petitions submitted on or after April 1, 2026.
