Chapter 571 — Nursery Stock; Licensed Agricultural Crops

ORS 571.400 Definitions for ORS 571.400 to 571.501

As used in ORS 571.400 to 571.501:

(1)

“Fiscal year”:

(a)

Except as provided in paragraph (b) of this subsection, means the 12-month period commencing on July 1 and ending on June 30.

(b)

If adopted by rule by the Oregon Hemp Commission, means the 12-month period commencing on January 1 and ending on December 31.

(2)

“Hemp” means the plant species Cannabis sativa that:

(a)

Has a tetrahydrocannabinol concentration that complies with the concentration specified by the State Department of Agriculture by rule; and

(b)

Has the meaning as defined by the department by rule.

(3)

“Processor” has the meaning given the term “handler” in ORS 571.269.

(4)

“Producer” has the meaning given the term “grower” in ORS 571.269.
