Chapter 607 — Livestock Districts; Stock Running at Large
ORS 607.360 Applicability of statutes regulating handling of calves and colts
ORS 607.345 to 607.355 do not apply to:
(1)
The calves of milch cows where such cows are actually used to furnish milk for household purposes or for carrying on a dairy.
(2)
Any freshly branded animal which has been branded previously with an older and duly recorded brand, and for which animal the claimant has a legally executed bill of sale from the owner of the older brand on such animal.
(3)
Young animals under the age of 10 months which are accompanied by their mothers.
(4)
Animals other than cattle or horses, or the offspring thereof, which during some period of the year run at large upon the public range.
