ORS 657B.350 Third party administrator; agreements; oversight by director

The Director of the Employment Department may enter into an agreement with a third party to implement this chapter and to serve as the administrator of the program established under ORS 657B.340. The director may enter into such an agreement only on a competitive bid basis.

Every service provided by a third party administrator pursuant to an agreement entered into under this section is subject to the same requirements provided under this chapter as if the services had been provided by the director.

A third party administrator that enters into an agreement with the director under this section is subject to oversight by the director.

Costs incurred by the director pursuant to an agreement with a third party administrator entered into under this section may not be recovered by an increase in the contribution rate determined by the director under ORS 657B.150.
