Chapter 659 — Miscellaneous Prohibitions Relating to Employment and Discrimination
ORS 659.810 Employer prohibited from filing false statement with employment agency to secure labor
No employer of labor shall directly or through any agent, knowing and with intent to deceive, file with any employment agency as a preliminary to securing labor, a false written or printed statement of wages to be paid, work to be performed or living and working conditions.
The failure or refusal of such employer to employ any laborer, to whom such written or printed statement has been delivered, is prima facie evidence of intent to deceive.
