Chapter 676 — Health Professions Generally
ORS 676.768 Legal sign language interpreter license
The Health Licensing Office may issue a legal sign language interpreter license to an applicant who:
Is a licensed supervisory sign language interpreter or a licensed sign language interpreter;
Meets any requirements established by the State Board of Sign Language Interpreters; and
Pays a fee established by the office.
Only a licensed legal sign language interpreter may provide signed language interpretation services in a legal setting as defined by the board.
