Chapter 689 — Pharmacists; Drug Outlets; Drug Sales
ORS 689.698 Prescription, dispensation and administration of medication for treatment of opioid use disorder; registration with Drug Enforcement Administration; rules
A pharmacist may prescribe, dispense and administer to a patient medication for the treatment of opioid use disorder in accordance with:
A collaborative drug therapy management agreement.
A pharmacist may register with the Drug Enforcement Administration of the United States Department of Justice as a mid-level practitioner for the purpose of prescribing, dispensing and administering a controlled substance in Schedule II, III, IV or V that is a medication for the treatment of opioid use disorder.
The board may adopt rules to carry out this section.
