Chapter 707 — Organization to Conduct Banking Business; Stockholders, Directors and Officers
ORS 707.680 Special board meetings called by director; penalty for failure to attend
The Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services may call a meeting of the board of directors of any banking institution by mailing a notice of the meeting to each director. The notice shall state the purpose of the meeting and designate the time and place where the meeting shall be held.
A director who fails to appear at the meeting without proper cause is subject to a penalty of up to $1,000 for each meeting the director fails to attend. The penalty shall be collected in the manner prescribed by ORS 706.570.
