Chapter 109 — Parent and Child Rights and Relationships
ORS 109.216 Withdrawal of consent
An individual who consents to assisted reproduction, other than under a surrogacy agreement, may withdraw consent any time before a transfer that results in a pregnancy by giving written notice of the withdrawal of consent to the person who agreed to give birth to a child conceived by the assisted reproduction.
An individual who withdraws consent under subsection (1) of this section:
Is a donor if the individual provided the gametes that resulted in the pregnancy.
An individual who withdraws consent as provided in this section shall provide a copy of the withdrawal to the clinic or health care provider facilitating the assisted reproduction. Failure to give notice to the clinic or health care provider does not affect the validity of the withdrawal.
