Chapter 171 — State Legislature
ORS 171.455 Complaint of elector; content
Within 30 days after a general election, any elector may file a complaint with the Secretary of State alleging a criminal violation of any election law by a member or member-elect of the Legislative Assembly.
The complaint shall be specific in its allegations. If the complaint pertains to campaign publications or material, a copy of the material shall be filed with the complaint. If the charge is incapable of such documentation, the affidavits of at least two persons who witnessed the conduct that is subject of the complaint shall be attached. Each affidavit shall contain the name and address of the affiant and a detailed statement describing the conduct that is the subject of the complaint.
