Chapter 198 — Special Districts Generally

ORS 198.845 Costs

The county shall bear the cost of formation or attempted formation of a district under ORS 198.835 to 198.845. However, if a district is formed, the district shall reimburse the county for any expenses incurred by the county in making necessary preliminary engineering studies and surveys in connection with the formation of the district.
