Chapter 469 — Energy; Conservation Programs; Energy Facilities

ORS 469.752 Definitions for ORS 469.752 to 469.756

As used in ORS 469.752 to 469.756, unless the context requires otherwise:

(1)

“Project” means a state agency’s improvement of the efficiency of energy use through conservation, development of cogeneration facilities or use of renewable resources. “Project” does not include a plan of a state agency to improve the efficiency of energy use in a state rented facility if the payback period for the project exceeds the term of the current state lease for that facility.

(2)

“Savings” means any reduction in energy costs or net income derived from the sale of energy generated through a project.

(3)

“State agency” has the meaning given that term in ORS 278.005.
