Chapter 475A — Psilocybin Regulation
ORS 475A.589 Disclosure of confidential information to public entities
As used in this section, “public entity” means:
A board or agency of this state;
A district attorney;
The Department of Justice; or
A law enforcement agency.
Subject to ORS 475A.587, the Oregon Health Authority may disclose confidential information to another public entity if the information reasonably relates to the regulatory or enforcement function of the other public entity. A public entity that receives information under this subsection shall take all reasonable steps to maintain the confidentiality of the information, except that the public entity may use or disclose the information to the extent necessary to carry out the regulatory or enforcement functions of the public entity.
The authority may not disclose information described in subsection (2) of this section to another public entity if the information relates to the provision of or referral for reproductive or gender-affirming health care services.
