Chapter 59 — Securities Regulation
ORS 59.145 Effect of notice filing, registration or license
Neither the fact that a notice filing or an application for registration or a license under the Oregon Securities Law has been filed nor the fact that a person is effectively licensed or a security is effectively registered constitutes a finding by the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services that any document filed under the Oregon Securities Law is true, complete and not misleading. Neither such fact nor the fact that an exemption or exception is available for a security or a transaction means that the director has passed in any way upon the merits or qualifications of, or recommended or given approval to, any person, security or transaction.
It is unlawful to make, or cause to be made, to a prospective purchaser, customer or client a representation inconsistent with subsection (1) of this section.
