Chapter 688 — Therapeutic and Technical Services: Physical Therapists; Medical Imaging Practitioners and Limited X-Ray Machine Operators; Hemodialysis Technicians; Athletic Trainers; Respiratory Therapists and Polysomnographic Technologists

ORS 688.129 Dry needling; rules

(1)

A physical therapist may perform dry needling, as defined by the Oregon Board of Physical Therapy by rule.

(2)

The board shall adopt rules to carry out this section, including rules to establish training requirements that a physical therapist must meet in order to perform dry needling.

Note: 688.129 becomes operative July 1, 2027. See section 24, chapter 627, Oregon Laws 2025.
