Chapter 757 — Utility Regulation Generally

ORS 757.006 People’s utility districts and electric cooperatives excluded from term “public utility.”

For purposes of ORS chapter 757, the term “public utility” does not include a people’s utility district organized under ORS chapter 261 or an electric cooperative organized under ORS chapter 62.

Note: 757.006 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 757 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
