Chapter 97 — Rights and Duties Relating to Cemeteries, Human Bodies and Anatomical Gifts
ORS 97.936 Emergency orders of suspension or restriction
In addition to other actions authorized under ORS 97.948 (2), the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services may:
Issue an emergency order suspending or restricting a certificate or registration or ordering a certified provider or master trustee or an entity acting as a certified provider or master trustee to cease and desist from specified conduct; or
Take other action deemed necessary by the director in the circumstances.
The director shall promptly provide opportunity for hearing pursuant to ORS chapter 183.
Emergency orders are:
Effective when issued;
Reviewable as provided in ORS 183.480; and
Enforceable in the courts of this state.
