Chapter 183 — Administrative Procedures Act; Review of Rules; Civil Penalties
ORS 183.710 Definitions for ORS 183.710 to 183.730
As used in ORS 183.710 to 183.730, unless the context requires otherwise:
“Interim committee” means a committee of the Legislative Assembly that is scheduled to meet when the Legislative Assembly is not in session and that has subject-matter jurisdiction over the state agency that has adopted a rule, as set forth in the subject-matter jurisdiction list developed under ORS 183.724.
“Rule” has the meaning given that term in ORS 183.310.
“State agency” means an agency as defined in ORS 183.310.
Note: 183.710 to 183.730 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 183 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
