Chapter 242 — Civil Service for City or School District Employees and Firefighters

ORS 242.600 Emergency appointments

In cases of emergency, to prevent delay or injury to the property of the school district or of the public business, the appointing authority may fill any position temporarily but not for longer than 30 days.
