ORS 285B.760 Definitions for ORS 285B.760 to 285B.763

As used in ORS 285B.760 to 285B.763:

“Culturally responsive services” means services provided by an organization:

Whose founding mission and goals are aligned with the culture of the individuals, families, businesses and communities receiving the services; and

That demonstrates intimate knowledge of the lived experience of the individuals, families, businesses and communities receiving the services.

“Economic equity risk factor” means:

Experience of discrimination because of race or ethnicity;

English language proficiency;

Citizenship status;

Socioeconomic status; or

Residence or operation in a rural location.
