Chapter 408 — Miscellaneous Benefits for Veterans and Service Personnel
ORS 408.320 Duties of Oregon Public Health Advisory Board
The Oregon Public Health Advisory Board created under ORS 431.122 shall:
Order the compilation of statistical data from information obtained under ORS 408.310 and determine the use and dissemination of that data.
Assess programs of federal agencies operating for the benefit of veterans exposed to causative agents and their families, and make recommendations to the appropriate agencies for the improvement of those programs.
When the advisory board considers it necessary for the health and welfare of veterans and the spouses, surviving spouses and minor children of veterans, ask the Attorney General to initiate proceedings as provided under ORS 408.335.
