ORS 455.418 Integration of buildings with community microgrids; rules
As used in this section:
“Community microgrid” means a microgrid that is located within a geographical area that a local government designates as a microgrid zone under ORS 197.729.
“Microgrid” means a group of interconnected loads and distributed energy resources within clearly defined electrical boundaries that functions as a single controllable system, irrespective of whether the microgrid is operating independently of or in conjunction with an electric grid.
The Department of Consumer and Business Services shall adopt rules to the state building code that support the integration of buildings with community microgrids.
Note: 455.418 was added to and made a part of ORS chapter 455 by legislative action but was not added to any smaller series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
