Chapter 471 — Alcoholic Liquors Generally

ORS 471.327 Civil penalty in addition to or in lieu of suspending certain other licenses, permits or certificates

(1)

The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission, in suspending any brewery license, wholesale wine license, wholesale malt beverage license, direct shipper permit, direct to retailer permit or certificate of approval, may:

(a)

Further impose against the licensee or the holder of the permit or certificate of approval a civil penalty not to exceed $5,000; or

(b)

In the commission’s discretion, impose the civil penalty without suspending the license, permit or certificate of approval.

(2)

Civil penalties under this section shall be imposed as provided in ORS 183.745.
