Chapter 803 — Vehicle Title and Registration
ORS 803.380 Failure to surrender out-of-state registration; penalty
(1)
A person commits the offense of failure to surrender out-of-state registration, if the person registers a vehicle in this state that has been registered in another jurisdiction and the person does not surrender to the Department of Transportation all number plates, seals, certificates of registration or other evidences of the former registration in possession or control of the applicant.
(2)
The offense described in this section, failure to surrender out-of-state registration, is a Class D traffic violation.
