ORS 825.990 Criminal penalties
Except as otherwise provided in subsection (2) of this section, every person who violates or procures, aids or abets violation of this chapter and any person who refuses or fails to obey any order, decision or rule, made under or pursuant to this chapter commits a Class A traffic violation.
Knowingly violating an out-of-service notice issued under authority of the Department of Transportation is a Class A misdemeanor.
A person is subject to the penalties under subsection (4) of this section if the person knowingly:
Makes any false material statement or representation in any application, label, manifest, record, report, permit or other document filed, maintained or used for purposes of compliance with requirements under this chapter for the safe transportation of hazardous wastes.
Fails to include material information required under rules of the Department of Transportation in any application for any permit or authority to transport hazardous waste under this chapter.
Violates any rules adopted by the Department of Transportation concerning the transportation of hazardous wastes.
Subject to ORS 153.022, violation of subsection (3) of this section is a Class B misdemeanor.
