Chapter 837 — Aircraft Operation
ORS 837.300 Definitions
“Aircraft” has the meaning given that term in ORS 836.005.
“Law enforcement agency” means an agency that employs peace officers, as defined in ORS 133.005, or that prosecutes offenses.
“Public body” has the meaning given that term in ORS 174.109.
“Unmanned aircraft system” means an unmanned flying machine, commonly known as a drone, and its associated elements, including communication links and the components that control the machine.
Note: 837.300 to 837.390 and 837.995 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 837 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
