Chapter 238 — Public Employees Retirement System

ORS 238.025 Effect of service interruptions on membership

Within the limits hereinafter specified regarding absence from service, no leave of absence, sabbatical leave, illness, accident or emergency preventing or interrupting service by an employee to an employer participating in the system shall be deemed to break the continuity of the employee’s membership in the system.
