ORS 646A.072 Exceptions to disclosure requirements

The requirement of disclosure under ORS 646A.070 does not apply:

To any medium of advertising that accepts advertising in good faith without knowledge that the advertising violates any requirement under ORS 646A.070.

To the sale or the offering for sale of radio equipment used for land, marine or air mobile service or any like service, regardless of whether such equipment is capable of interconnection by manual or automatic means to a telephone line.

To equipment not intended for connection to the telephone network or to used equipment located on the customer’s premises.

The requirement of disclosure under ORS 646A.070 (1)(d), (e) and (f) does not apply if the seller satisfies applicable requirements under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2301 to 2312), except that the seller must provide the purchaser a copy of the warranty at the time of sale.
