Chapter 646A — Trade Regulation

ORS 646A.730 Persons that are not equity purchasers

The following are not equity purchasers for purposes of ORS 646A.725 to 646A.750:

(1)

A party to a deed in lieu of foreclosure.

(2)

A creditors’ committee, trustee or debtor in possession participating in a proceeding under the jurisdiction of the United States Bankruptcy Court.

(3)

Any person whose employment with regard to a residential real property matter under the jurisdiction of the United States Bankruptcy Court is approved by order of the bankruptcy court.

(4)

A family or living trust in which the equity seller is the beneficiary or a member of the beneficiary.
