Chapter 811 — Rules of the Road for Drivers

ORS 811.207 Legislative findings regarding restraint of children in motor vehicles

The Legislative Assembly finds that:

(1)

Oregon drivers look to the law in deciding how to restrain and protect children in motor vehicles.

(2)

The proper restraint of children in motor vehicles will reduce the number of children killed in motor vehicle accidents and reduce the severity of injuries to children who survive motor vehicle accidents.
