Chapter 811 — Rules of the Road for Drivers

ORS 811.630 Misuse of program placard; penalty

(1)

A person commits the offense of misuse of a program placard if the person:

(a)

Is the driver of a vehicle that is being used as part of a program for the transportation of persons with disabilities; and

(b)

Uses a program placard described under ORS 811.607 for any purpose other than exercising privileges granted under ORS 811.637.

(2)

Except as provided in subsection (3) of this section, misuse of a program placard is a Class C traffic violation.

(3)

A second or subsequent conviction for misuse of a program placard is a Class A traffic violation.
