Chapter 811 — Rules of the Road for Drivers

ORS 811.390 Unlawful use of lights to signal for passing; penalty

(1)

A person commits the offense of unlawful use of lights to signal for passing if the person is operating a vehicle and the person flashes any lights as a courtesy or “do pass” signal to other drivers approaching from the rear.

(2)

The offense described in this section, unlawful use of lights to signal for passing, is a Class D traffic violation.
