Chapter 285A — Economic Development I

ORS 285A.230 University Innovation Research Fund; grants

The University Innovation Research Fund is established in the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund. Interest earned by the University Innovation Research Fund must be credited to the fund. The fund consists of all moneys appropriated, allocated, deposited or transferred to the fund by the Legislative Assembly or otherwise and any donations or grants received for the purpose of the fund. Moneys in the fund are continuously appropriated to the Oregon Business Development Department to make grants to public universities listed in ORS 352.002 or grants to the Oregon Health and Science University for the purpose of matching competitive federal research grant awards.

Note: 285A.230 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 285A or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
