Chapter 327 — State Financing of Early Learning and Elementary and Secondary Education
ORS 327.127 Minimum grant amounts, grant applications and grant reporting requirements for small school districts
As used in this section:
“Small ADM school district” means a school district that has an average daily membership, as defined in ORS 327.006, of less than 1,650.
“State-funded grant” means a grant awarded by the Department of Education from funds appropriated or allocated by the Legislative Assembly to the department for the purpose of awarding grants to school districts.
Except when a minimum grant amount is provided for in statute, the State Board of Education may establish a minimum grant amount for a state-funded grant when the grant is awarded to a small ADM school district.
The Department of Education may modify grant application and reporting requirements for a noncompetitive state-funded grant for the purpose of reducing the administrative burden for small ADM school districts.
Note: 327.127 was added to and made a part of ORS chapter 327 by legislative action but was not added to any smaller series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
