Chapter 327 — State Financing of Early Learning and Elementary and Secondary Education

ORS 327.833 Grant awards; rules

(1)

The Department of Education shall award an Early Literacy Success School Grant to an eligible school district or public charter school that applies for a grant as provided by ORS 327.831. Moneys received under this section must be used as described in ORS 327.829 (2).

(2)

A school district with an average daily membership, as defined in ORS 327.006, of 50 or less shall receive a minimum grant award under this section.

(3)

The State Board of Education shall adopt any rules necessary for the distribution of grants under this section.
