Chapter 742 — Insurance Policies Generally; Property and Casualty Policies

ORS 742.462 Insurer’s right to settle claims

The insurer shall have the right to settle any claim covered by the policy, and if such settlement is made in good faith, the amount thereof shall be deductible from the limits of liability specified in respect to a motor vehicle liability insurance policy.
